Following
the installation of our wide format CO2 laser engraving equipment as part
of our ongoing commitment to investing in the latest technology, we are now
able to offer a wide range of engraved goods to enhance our other product
ranges.
The picture on the right shows a small sample
of products that have been engraved using our laser engraving equipment. Top
left shows the effect on marble effect diabond aluminium, and the bottom of
the picture has a wood sample. The marking of stainless steel examples at the
top right of the picture are now possible due to a new process used by Signs
Display .Com that leaves a permanent black marking on the surface
We can also produce high quality photo engravings
onto metals, glass, acrylic etc., and can manufacture miniature cut out letters
and numbers that are ideal for desk signs, name signs etc.
Laser engraved laminated material is particularly
well suited to producing small but durable, highly legible, wipe-clean labels
and tags for applications such as pipeline or cable systems, control panel legends,
corporate badges, key fobs, etc. Labels can all be produced with sequential
engraved numbering if required.
Signs Display .Com now offer a range of stainless steel products with an
exciting new permanent black marking finish. Engraving with stainless steel
using traditional methods has always had limited results, but our new method
allows for very fine marking with perfect results.
To achieve the distinctive permanent black marking with stainless steel,
the surface is first carefully prepared with a photo reactive chemical and
then put into the CO2 laser engraver for the marking process.
