In line with our commitment to invest in new technology, Signs Display .Com has just completed the installation of further new equipment at our production facility in Hull.

Digital flatbed printer

The addition of the digital flatbed printer allows us to use the latest generation full colour UV ink. The UV ink system allows us to print directly onto substrates such as correx, foamex, card, and acrylic. This completely waterproof ink system is ideal for point of sale graphics in small or large quantities. To compliment the flatbed printer we have installed a dedicated roll to roll wide format machine for the production of large banners, building drapes, window films, etc.

Laser engraving stainless steel

Traditionally difficult to engrave using laser equipment because of its properties, stainless steel can now be given a high definition finish thanks to a new process developed by Signs Display. Com.

The surface is first carefully prepared with a photo reactive agent, and then the design is engraved into the surface of the stainless steel using our CO2 laser equipment. The finished engraving is permanently marked black, giving a strong contrast to the stainless steel.
